DESCRIPTION:What: Good Year Farms – Small Acreage Stewardship Tour \nWhen: Saturday\, September 26th – Tour: noon to 1:00pm (light soup and sandwich lunch served between 11am-noon\, $10 per person paid at the event) \nWho: Anyone interested in land stewardship practices and most relevant to rural residents \nWhere: Good Year Farms in Washougal\, WA \nCost: Stewardship Tour is free. Lunch is $10 at the event \nLocal rural residents will host a tour at their farm to highlight land stewardship practices\, including agricultural land restoration\, protecting their septic system\, installing gutters and downspouts on their barn\, hedgerows\, riparian areas\, and enhancing wildlife habitat. Meet farm animals and enjoy the native plant nursery\, as well. The tour is free\, please sign up in advance.\n\nThe hosts will offer a light lunch of soup and sandwiches between 11am and noon ($10/person paid at the event).\n\nIf you are volunteering at the Annual Lake Lacamas Cleanup from 9:30am-11am\, come on over for lunch and the tour afterwards (less than a 10 min drive away).
