DESCRIPTION:What: Riparian Forest Restoration – Small Acreage Stewardship Tour\nWhen: Saturday\, October 24th noon to 1:30pm to 2:30pm\nWho: Anyone interested in land stewardship practices and most relevant to rural residents with riparian areas and woodlands\nWhere: Residence in Brush Prairie\, WA \nThe Watkins were recognized for their water stewardship efforts by the Small Acreage Program\nCost: Free\, but please sign up in advance\nSign up at: https://Tour102426.eventbrite.com \nLocal rural residents will host a tour on their land to highlight land stewardship practices\, including reforestation along a creek\, reducing mud and erosion on paths\, protecting their septic system\, installing gutters and downspouts on their structures\, French drains\, reduced watering of lawn\, riparian areas\, and protecting wildlife from harm. See their beautiful water feature and landscaping. The tour is free\, please sign up in advance. \n  \nNote: There will be a “Soil Health and Lime Application on Pastures Workshop” from 10am to noon this same day.
