SUMMARY:Beginning Youth Floral Design
DESCRIPTION:On July 22 at 6:00 pm\, Cowlitz County Master Gardener Marge Lippincott will discuss the basics of flower arrangement.  Students will learn how to combine form\, color\, style and balance into a beautiful display.  Following the presentation\, youth will design their own display and then can enter them at the Cowlitz County Fair.  You must pre-register and pay by July 17.  Class size is limited to 12 youth ages 6-12. The cost of the class is $5.00 per student.  We accept cash or check. Please make checks payable to the Master Gardener Foundation. Classes will be held at the Cowlitz Training Center\, 1942 First Avenue\, Longview.  The workshop is sponsored by Washington State University Extension Master Gardeners.  For more information\, contact Carlee Dowell at 577-3014 Ext 0 or DowellC@co.cowlitz.wa.us .  This is a great opportunity for youth to learn the basics of floral design and create an entry for the fair. \n
