WSU Clark County in Vancouver will host a remote teleconference site so attendees may avoid driving to the live conference site in Lynden. Registration for remote sites are discounted due to the limitations of teleconferencing the entire conference experience. The cost is $50 and includes lunch. SUMMARY:FREE Tire Disposal Event
DESCRIPTION:We will be accepting tires for free disposal from Cowlitz County residents. Washington State University Extension in conjunction with the Cowlitz County Health and Human Services Departments present: A Free Tire Amnesty Event. The event will be held at the closed Cowlitz County Tennant Way Landfill from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday\, December 1\, 2018. The landfill is located at 85 Frontage Rd\, Longview\, Washington. This event is made financially possible by a grant from Washington State Department of Ecology. \n  \nTires will be accepted for free disposal for Cowlitz County residents. Valid ID showing a Cowlitz County address must be presented to dispose of tires. Tires may be on rims except for large truck\, heavy equipment\, or farm equipment. Please be prepared to unload your own tires. Tires will NOT be accepted from commercial sources. \n  \nFor more information please contact the WSU Extension at 360-577-3014 extension 3 or the Cowlitz County Health and Human Services Environmental Health Unit at 360-414-5599\, select option 5 and then option 2.
