To date, its faculty and staff have trained over 50,000 professionals across diverse fields\u2014including K\u201312 education, early learning, juvenile justice, social work, mental health, primary health care, and community services\u2014in Washington, Oregon, California, New York, Alaska, Illinois, and Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Education &amp; Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p> C.teach is committed to equipping people in universal systems with awareness of complex trauma as a major health issue and with the skills to proactively respond. We are committed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Support community leaders through continuing education, with a focus on professionals such as health care providers and educators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Train community leaders on how to deal with childhood trauma and behavioral health challenges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop curriculum to educate current and future workforce in fields such as health care, nursing, education, and public health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Community Development &amp; Capacity Building<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>C.teach is actively involved in helping communities develop their capacity to provide supportive services to their residents\u2014especially those who are underserved and\/or at risk. C.teach aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Build strong, supportive community systems by developing relationships with community leaders and stakeholders to enhance existing programs\u2014particularly those focused on at-risk youth, families, and K\u201312 capacity-building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Research &amp; Evaluation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A primary focus of C.teach is research and evaluation of programs that counter the impact of complex trauma on individuals, families, systems, and communities.
