Below are links (pdf) to recipes from the Iowa State University Extension Spend Smart Eat Smart
program. These recipes have been formatted to meet the graphic standards of the Washington State EFNEP program. They are outlined to match the appropriate lesson within the Eating Smart-Being Active curriculum. All recipes are adapted to be completed in a classroom and may require use of an electric skillet. An oven or stove top should be not be required for in-class recipes.
The Spend Smart Eat Smart recipes have been assigned to lessons to coordinate with lesson topics. Please contact your local EFNEP county supervisor with questions regarding usage of these recipes.
