You may obtain and study the corresponding Washington State University (WSU) exam study manual or you may attend a pre-license training course. WSU conducts statewide pre-license short courses in English each winter. See the <a href=\"https:\/\/pep.wsu.edu\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/pep.wsu.edu\/\">WSU Pesticide Resources and Education Program<\/a> website to determine availability of courses in your area. Brochures on these courses are mailed annually to all WSDA pesticide license holders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To begin studying for the exam order your own study manuals through <a href=\"https:\/\/pubs.extension.wsu.edu\/product\/private-applicator-pesticide-education-manual\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/pubs.extension.wsu.edu\/product\/private-applicator-pesticide-education-manual\/\">WSU Publications<\/a>. In collaboration with the Ferry County Noxious Weed Control Board, workshops are held throughout the year, including &#8220;Hands on Calibration&#8221; held at various locations throughout Ferry County each April in conjunction with Ferry County Conservation Month. Weed Identification classes are occasionally held in the fall or winter. Most workshops offer 3 credits. Pre-license modules are self-study courses that can be used in conjunction with study manuals to prepare for state pesticide exams. Internet recertification modules provide one state recertification credit and take approximately 50 minutes to complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ferry County Noxious Weed Control Board Meetings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Meetings are the 1st Wednesday of each month at various locations throughout Ferry County.
