“You Can!” Food Preservation Classes
August 16 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Thursday, repeating until September 6, 2018
WSU Clark County Extension “You Can!” Food Preservation Classes start in July and space is limited! Learn the basics of food preservation so you can eat well year-round by filling your pantry and freezer with the bounty from the Pacific Northwest! These evening classes bring you up to date on the latest recommendations, teach you how to process your food safely and tell you why you are doing it that way and much more. You will also learn what equipment is needed and proper storage methods. Participants receive printed materials, enjoy an extensive Q & A at the end of the class and taste samples of preserved products. Classes are from July 19 thru September 6, 2018 and you can take 1 or all 8 classes. For more information: http://extension.wsu.edu/clark/?p=5336
