The 4-H 101 Leader Training tentatively set for Monday, May 21, 2018 in Ritzville has been canceled due to not enough RSVP\u2019s to warrant the training at this time. \u00a0If you are a volunteer leader who has not yet taken the required 4-H 101 Leader Training, you will not be accepted as a 4-H\u00a0volunteer leader this year.<\/p>\n
4-H 101 Leader Training Parts 1 and 2 for New Volunteers<\/strong><\/p>\n Are you thinking about starting a new 4-H club or family 4-H group? Are you signing up as a volunteer with 4-H for the first time?\u00a0 Are you a returning volunteer and have not completed 4-H 101 Leader training? \u00a0If so, please contact Jeannie Kiehn, jmkiehn@wsu.edu<\/a>; 754-2011 ext. 4313.<\/p>\n All volunteers signing up for the first time must submit a WSU 4-H Volunteer Application Form<\/a> to the Extension Office for screening.\u00a0 New 4-H volunteers are required to complete the 4-H 101 Volunteer Leader Training Parts 1 & 2.\u00a0 This training (how to plan club programming, ensure you are up-to-date on WSU and state 4-H policies and procedures, risk management, etc.) will prepare you to become a certified 4-H volunteer of a 4-H club or group.<\/p>\n 4-H 101 Volunteer Leader Training Part 1<\/strong> (Prerequisite for 4-H 101 Part 2):<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2500\u00a0 Completed WSU 4-H Volunteer Application<\/a> on file at the Extension office.<\/p>\n \u2500\u00a0 Complete the Volunteer E-Learning Modules<\/a> online training course. \u00a0The password is volunteer.<\/p>\n \u2500\u00a0 Complete the online “Put the Child First”<\/a> child protection training video.<\/p>\n
