4-H 101 Leader Training Canceled
The 4-H 101 Leader Training tentatively set for Monday, May 21, 2018 in Ritzville has been canceled due to not enough RSVP’s to warrant the training at this time. 4-H 101 Leader Training
4-H 101 is required for NEW 4-H volunteer leaders and those that have had a lapse in their volunteer years. WSU Grant-Adams Extension, Adams County Extension and Lincoln County Extension will be offering additional trainings this winter and spring. Please RSVP to Jeannie Kiehn at jmkiehn@wsu.edu or 509-754-2011 ext: 4309. Adams County Extension is offering a training on Thursday, January 31st in Connell at Michael Jay’s Restaurant meeting room, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

4-H Educational Posters Due Date
In-Person Event Educational posters will be judged prior to being displayed at the fair this year. They need to be dropped off at the Extension Office by July 28th. Please include following information on the back of the posters: name, age division, exhibitor number, and 4-H Club name. Once they are judged, they can be collected from the Extension office on August 12-13th or picked up Monday, August 16th at the 4-H building at the Fairgrounds and displayed on/near animal…

4-H Education Poster Pick-Up
In Person Event Educational Posters can be collected from the Extension Office on August 12th and 13th. Any posters not picked up at the Extension Office can be picked up Monday, August 16th at the 4-H building at the Fairgrounds and displayed on/near animal pens or cages. Gathering the Flock – Let’s Meet Ewe
The Columbia Basin Sheep Producers in collaboration with WSU Grant and Adams County Extension Offices are offering area sheep producers an opportunity to come together to meet each other and participate in a webinar about the countdown to lambing and newborn care, club lamb fungus, and WSU disease diagnostics by Guest Presenter: Dr. Melissa Holahan, DVM, WSU Post-Doc. In addition, the CBSP will provide a pizza/sub dinner to participants.
