Master Gardeners will be available in each garden to answer questions. \nTickets are $15 and on sale at Marshall’s Garden & Pet\, Aberdeen; Harbor Drug and Gifts\, Hoquiam; Valu Drug\, Montesano; Dennis Company\, Elma and Raymond; Galway Bay Gift Shop and Jip & Gwenner’s Pet Boutique \, Ocean Shores; and Westport Winery\, Hwy. 105. \nTickets will be available at each garden and at the plant sale the day of the tour. You can visit the Plant Sale without a tour ticket. \nProceeds benefit free Master Gardener\nplant clinics\, workshops\, food bank donations and high school scholarship program throughout both counties.\n \n  \nReasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities and special needs. DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars now! The WSU Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties will  host  Town and Country Gardens\, our 25th Annual Garden Tour\, Saturday\,  July 22\, 2023. This year’s tour will include six gardens in the Elma and McCleary area of east Grays Harbor County. \nTo celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the WSU Extension’s Master Gardener Program and our 25th garden tour\, the Grays Harbor County Demonstration Garden will be an official tour garden this year. Often referred to as ‘the public face of the Master Gardeners’\, the Demonstration Garden was started in 1994 and has evolved and expanded over the years. DESCRIPTION:The Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties will be hosting a Plant Clinic on Saturday\, May 6\, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2 PM at Buck Electric Ace Hardware in Ocean Shores.\n \nCommon questions for the Master Gardener volunteers are: \n\nWhat plants grow best in the Pacific Northwest?\nWhat can I grow in the maritime environment?\nHow can I test my soil?\nWhat will I have problems growing where I live?\n\nTo help us better diagnose a plant problem\, please try to share as much of the following information as possible: \n\nThe type of damage are you seeing and when it start\nThe parts of the plant that are affected: flower\, leaf\, stem\, fruit\, etc.\nHow is the plant watered and the amount and frequency of watering\nThe location of the plant ; in a garden bed or in the lawn\, next to a driveway or house\, in full or part sun\, the direction the plant faces\, etc.\n\nSharing photographs of your plant problem\, plant identification or insect identification is helpful.
