DESCRIPTION:CANCELLATION OF 2020 ANNUAL GARDEN TOUR\nAfter over 20 years of proudly sponsoring this annual event\, it is with great sadness that the WSU Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties are canceling this year’s tour. With all the continued uncertainty\, we feel we cannot responsibly continue to plan for this event. \nWe hope to bring back the Annual Garden Tour in the Satsop area in 2021.\n \n \n \n  \n Reasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities and special needs. Please make all requests to WSU Extension 360-482-2934 at least two weeks prior to the event. \nWSU Extension programs and employment are available without discrimination. SUMMARY:2021 Annual Garden Tour and Plant Sale
DESCRIPTION:The WSU Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties are once again hosting our Annual Garden Tour. As promised\, this year’s tour will be in the Satsop area of Grays Harbor. Come learn and get inspiration from three outstanding private gardens designed by our own members on this year’s garden tour. \nThe Schaefer Meadows garden has been featured in national and international magazines and books. Tons of granite boulders\, huge ponds\, select plants\, mature trees and intimate garden rooms make this an unparalleled garden experience. \nThe second Master Gardener has used her creative talents and sense of color to create a feast for the senses on the West Satsop River. Her canvas was a 25-acre clear-cut piece of property which has been developed into a beautiful tapestry of plants with many unusual conifers\, an inspired border of grasses and perennials\, lovely hardscaping and a large food garden. \nThe third property\, a delightful country garden in the middle of the forest lights up with lots of chartreuse and blooming plants and colorful pots. Charming garden art and comfortable seating areas are incorporated throughout the garden. The property has a large orchard where you’ll be able to get tips on growing fruit in our climate. \nBecause we were unable to host our popular Home & Garden Show in May this year\, we will also be offering our plant sale and Mini-Garden Show with vendors\, which will be conveniently located right on the Elma-Montesano Highway in Satsop. \nTickets for the Annual Garden Tour are $15\, and available now at the following locations: \n\nAberdeen: Marshall’s Garden & Pet\nWestport Winery\nHoquiam: Harbor Drug & Gifts\nMontesano: Valu Drug\nElma: Dennis Company\nOcean Shores: Galway Bay Gift Shop and Flying Cats Gift Shop\nRaymond: Dennis Company\n\nThe ticket books will include garden addresses and particulars for each garden.
