DiG@Shores is the newest Grays Harbor County Master Gardener demonstration garden located at Ocean Shores United Methodist Church, next to the Ocean Shores Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The garden is actively under construction, but our goal is to have a garden learning space in Ocean Shores to share with residents and visitors alike. In addition to demonstrating how to grow food, conserve water, and support pollinators, there will be a small public area on the library end of the garden that will be open to the public 24×7 as a place to simply enjoy being in nature, but also demonstrate what plants can or cannot tolerate the significant deer pressure in this community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our goal is to share the riches of this garden with visitors and our communities. We do this in many ways; by sharing produce and vegetable plant seedlings with our local food bank clients & others, by demonstrating how to promote soil health without use of chemicals, through sharing information on plants & gardening with visitors, and by inviting the public in to walk our pathways and enjoy whatever the season offers.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n
