During the COVID-19 restrictions Grays Harbor County 4-H has had to pause all planned face-to-face activities. To support families during this challenging time we have shifted to offering take home learning kits that create opportunities for families to explore and create together. Let us know if we can connect your family with one of our free kits.

4-H FOR YOU \u2013 BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 2020<\/h6>\n

4-H<\/span> FOR<\/span> YOU<\/span> is the 4-H<\/span> way to explore fun new topics. We provide detailed curriculum and basic supplies, while you<\/span> get to set the pace as you<\/span> work you<\/span>r way through a series of activities designed for<\/span> you<\/span>r family to spend time learning and playing together. The activities are appropriate for<\/span> all ages. Additional basic supplies that you<\/span> are likely to have on hand at home will also be necessary to complete the activities. Topics include Emergency Preparedness, Crime & Spy Science, Duct Tape Creations, and Kitchen Science.<\/p>\n

Writing thank you notes<\/strong> is a valuable skill and puts an emphasis on gratitude. Nothing says \u201cI am grateful\u201d like a hand written card or letter. Challenge yourself to thank someone each day for a week, your genuine and authentic words will brighten their day! Kit includes supplies for 6 cards\/notes.<\/p>\n

Magnets are a bit of<\/span> a mystery<\/strong>, but build your own and discover their secret! Learn how you can form an electromagnet with a few basic supplies\u2026.we can almost see the amazement in your eyes already!
