Club Leaders complete and turn in the form, which is due to the Extension Office no later than 5pm Monday, October 10<sup>th<\/sup> or the GH 4-H Council meeting held at the Forestry Building in Montesano at 6:30 that evening.\u00a0 Forms are also available at <a href=\"http:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/graysharbor\/4-h\/forms\/\"><u>http:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/graysharbor\/4-h\/forms\/<\/u><\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>The 4-H year pin is an award earned by the 4-H member for completing the 4-H year. As the Grays Harbor 4-H Council purchases these pins, the council has established guidelines for earning a year pin. The 4-H member must complete five of the following seven items to receive a pin (Primary members are not required to complete items #3 and #4, but must complete four of the remaining five items.):<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Complete the project\/projects in which the member is enrolled.<\/li>\n<li>Attend at least 50% of their club\u2019s general and project meetings after enrollment.<\/li>\n<li>Give a public presentation.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the 4-H record book.<\/li>\n<li>Exhibit at a fair or other designated activity.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in a 4-H community project.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a club officer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wpcdn.web.wsu.edu\/extension\/uploads\/sites\/77\/2014\/04\/YearPinRequestForm-Fillable09-20142.pdf\" rel=\"\">Year Pin Request Form<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>4-H Year Pin Request forms are now available for pick up at the Extension Office.
