WSU Master Gardener Advanced Education Conference

The annual WSU Master Gardener Advanced Education Conference is open to the public and offers top-notch classes and instructors, and significant WSU-approved continuing education hours to statewide Extension Master Gardeners who serve our communities here in Washington State. in 2023, Thirty-five classes were taught on research-based gardening and environmental stewardship practices covering our Program Priorities and Extension Master Gardener leadership skills. Plan to join us virtually in 2024.
2024 Keynote Speaker
We are pleased to announce our 2024 keynote speaker, Rebecca McMackin. Rebecca is an ecologically obsessed horticulturist and garden designer who has spent the last decade as Director of Horticulture of Brooklyn Bridge Park, where she managed 85 acres of diverse parkland organically and with an eye towards habitat creation for birds, butterflies, and soil microorganisms.
