Participants will receive 20+ hours of *University-level training as well as additional hands-on and field trip opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*No previous university education required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Course Goals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the relationship between consumption, waste production, and climate change<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acquire tools to reduce consumption and impact<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be inspired to share this vital knowledge with others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Training Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This 6-week-session-series will run 4 \u2013 6 PM. and offer an engaging format through the option of in-person classrooms on Camano Island. We will also be offering virtual learning via Zoom. (A similar training will be offered in person on Whidbey Island in Fall of 2026) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course fee for Waste Wise is $50, which helps to cover material costs.
