Six Friday nights, starting Oct 5th, 2018. Potluck at 5:30, Class from 6:00 – 8:30 PM. Located at the WSU Classroom, 97 Oak Bay Road, Port Hadlock, WA. Field trip dates are TBA.

Interested in growing and preserving your own food this year? Join Master Gardeners and seasoned gardening experts for a fun filled six – week class at WSU. Learn hands-on skills for storing your garden bounty, extending your gardening season and preparing for the spring! Class participants will learn about topics such as healthy soils, seed saving, food preservation, small fruits, attracting beneficial insects, permaculture design and much more! You will also have many opportunities to practice hands-on skills and have your specific questions answered by enthusiastic local gardeners.
This six week class will take place in the WSU Port Hadlock classroom on Friday nights from 6:00 – 8:30 PM with an optional potluck at 5:30 PM. In addition, there will three Saturday afternoons (1-4 pm) field trips. Class size is limited so participants need to sign up early. Cost is $65 and scholarships are available.
