Help Plant a Rain Garden—Tues. Apr 30th

Jefferson County Marine Resources Committee and WSU Extension need your help planting a new rain garden in the uptown area of Port Townsend.  This rain garden will capture and treat stormwater runoff, preventing contaminants from reaching local marine waters. This project is a collaborative effort with the Jefferson County Marine Resources Committee, WSU Extension, the City of Port Townsend and community volunteers like you!  Choose a shift or come for as long as you can. Learn more at http://www.jeffersonmrc.org.  Email Cheryl Lowe (cheryl.lowe@wsu.edu ) with the time you’ll be there.
