Our final event for the 4-H year will be our Awards Ceremony on October 16th 2026 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Your 4-H Leaders Council will be planning the event and will send out an invitation as soon as information is available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Record Books and Club Award Forms are due to the WSU Extension Office by September 30th. If you have not picked your record book (or other items) up after Fair it is at the WSU Extension Office. Connect with your Club Leader to pick it up. Completed Record Books that are turned in by September 30th will be judged, and eligible for a cash prize at the Awards Ceremony!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UPCOMING STATE 4-H EVENTS:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Washington State Fair<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Most Departments require a blue ribbon to qualify for State Fair. If you are interested and have questions reach out to your County Coordinator the week after Fair. Our county gets limited allocations but your coordinator can advocate for you! State Fair runs for the whole month of September – depending on what you will be participating in determines what day you will be exhibiting. The schedule is on the website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would like to exhibit a still life object at State Fair you must register and drop the item off at the WSU Extension office by 9am on Monday August 31st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starlink + Tractor Supply Partnership beginning September 1st – Help support WA State 4-H! \ud83c\udf40<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re excited to share a new initiative with Tractor Supply and Starlink that will bring fast, reliable internet access to rural communities and create an opportunity for significant unrestricted support for your local 4\u2011H program. From September 1\u2013November 1, for every Starlink Kit purchased and registered at Tractor Supply, the value of the first month’s subscription will support 4\u2011H. Similar to Tractor Supply’s Paper Clover and Casey’s Round Up campaigns, a portion of the funds generated through eligible Starlink kit purchases and activations will directly benefit 4\u2011H in your state. As part of the initiative, Starlink will also provide kits and service to 100 designated 4\u2011H clubs serving rural youth, through an RFA process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, we can help ensure more young people\u2014regardless of where they live\u2014have access to the opportunities, resources, and experiences that prepare them to be Beyond Ready for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
