Join this workshop with WSU Meat Science Experts!<\/p>\n<p>When: Monday March 25th<\/p>\n<p>9:30am-4pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Morning Session<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interactive butchery demo highlighting consumer trends in the NEW WA Meat Up Mobile Butchery Truck!<\/li>\n<li>Discussion: how do you improve efficiency to increase profitability<\/li>\n<li>Discussion: what are consumer preferences and why it matters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Afternoon Session<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>WSDA Grant &amp; Assistance Opportunities and Regulatory Q&amp;A<\/li>\n<li>Discussion: how do you communicate with and keep customers<\/li>\n<li>Discussion: what affects meat quality, yield, and value<\/li>\n<li>Discussion: does your price reflect your full costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Where: Sequim High School<\/p>\n<p>601 N Sequim Ave, Sequim, WA<\/p>\n<p>Cost: $25 includes lunch and materials<\/p>\n<p>Limit to 10 participants<\/p>\n<p>Pre-registration is required and you must be a meat processor in order to participate (this is not for the general public).
