If you have a hobby or interest that you enjoy, more than likely there will be a child who can learn from you. You don\u2019t have to be an expert on a topic, because the \u201cLearn by Doing\u201d philosophy of 4-H is applicable to children as well as the adults who lead. If you enjoy working with youth, 4-H needs you. Experience with 4-H is not necessary to become a volunteer. Volunteers are caring adults who mentor our youth and provide a supportive environment. There are many different <a href=\"#roles\">volunteer roles and opportunities<\/a> to suit an individual\u2019s goals and schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All 4-H Volunteers must complete the certification process, particularly those who are in contact with youth on an ongoing basis.
