Gardens You Can Eat
A series of classes taught by Master Gardeners to help you create your own organic vegetable garden. Based on the principles of organic gardening, with a focus on soils, composting and Integrated Pest Management. (IPM). The 10-class series is designed for those with some gardening experience.
10 class series:
- Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:30 PM – 10/29/2019, 3/10/20, 4/7/20, 5/19/20, 6/16/20, 7/14/20, 7/21/20, 8/18/20
- Saturday mornings 9:00-Noon 4/18/20, 9/12/20
- Registrants of the 10-class series will receive a copy of the Maritime NW Garden Guide.
Location:
Norm Dicks Government Center, 345 6th Street, Bremerton
Cost:
- Tuesday classes – $15 individually, Saturday classes – $25 individually
- 10-class series – $150, $100 Master Gardener rate

Early Registration for the series by September 15, 2019 – $125 for all 10 classes
$20 cancellation fee for series, $5 cancellation fee for each individual class
No refunds less than 10 days before scheduled class, $35 charge for checks returned for non-sufficient funds
New to gardening? Try Sustainable Vegetable Gardening 101
Sustainable Vegetable Gardening 101 class for new gardeners:
This one-day class will give those new to growing edible plants a basic overview of how to establish a successful vegetable garden. We will discuss site selection, basic soil science and plant nutrition, crop choices, pest and disease management and more!
