SUMMARY:End of Season Sweetpotato Grower Round Table
DESCRIPTION:Join WSU Regional Small Farms in an end of season sweetpotato grower round table.\nDid you grow sweetpotatoes this year? Are you interested in learning from the experiences of farmers who did? Join us for this end of season discussion.\nHarvest will be complete and it’s an excellent time to talk about what went right and what went wrong as the season is still fresh in your mind. WSU researchers will share a brief overview of what they learned from their trials this season\, but the bulk of the time is for farmers to share their experiences with the crop and learn from other farmers. We learn new tips every year! For example\, did you know there’s a way to help a sweetpotato crop that has been ravaged by deer recover and produce a decent crop? Do did you have a particular pest or disease problem that you’d like to troubleshoot? Please join us for this evening round table discussion. \nRegistration Details \nDate: November 7th 2024 \nTime: 6pm – 7pm \nLocation: Online via Zoom (link will be provided after registration) \nAudience: Farmers\, Homesteaders and Producers Only \nRegistration link:\n \n  \nThis material is based upon work that is supported by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture\, U.S. Department of Agriculture\, under award number 2022-38640-37490 through the Western Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education program under project number SW23-951.
