Kitsap County Noxious Weed Control Board Meeting
January 7, 2020, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The Noxious weed control board will hold their January board meeting at the Kitsap Mall (in the old Payless shoe store) at 6 pm. This will be the meeting where the board will approve the 2020 noxious weed list and hold a hearing to adjust the annual noxious weed fee. Agenda will be posted on this website prior to the meeting. Public comment will be received at the meeting and also may be sent directly to the weed board via Dana Coggon or directly to the county board of commissioners.
The county Noxious weed control program is the CDC of the Plant world. Our program is working hard to protect our land from the detrimental impacts of noxious weeds. We also work hard to protect humans and animals from the health hazards of plants like Giant hogweed and tansy ragwort.
