4-H Poultry Pre-Show

Poultry Pre-Show will be held  at the Fairgrounds in the Western Village Room 4 from 9-10:30 a.m. on May 6, 2017.  Participants are not required to attend for fair but are strongly encouraged.  Poultry birds are welcome to practice fitting and showing and proper fair cage use. However, young chicks (those without adult feathers) cannot attended due to illness and safety concerns.  We need them to be strong enough to be around the older birds.

We will be working on fair review, including premium guide changes, items needed for fair, and information you will need to enter your bird for fair.  We also will be review fitting and showing items and study information for the fair poultry exam.  We will also have the table top agility course set up for those that would like to practice for the fair demo of this.  The birds must have a harness and leash to use this course.
