SUMMARY:Dirt Bike Safety Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Registration is open for our upcoming Be Crash Free RideSafe Dirt Bike Clinic on June 20th. The RideSafe Motorcycle Training Course is a fun\, hands-on 4-hour program designed for youth ages 8-18 who want to learn how to safely ride dirt bikes. Certified Be Crash Free instructors will guide participants through: \n\n\n\n· Basic motorcycle controls \n\n\n\n· Protective gear and safety \n\n\n\n· Balance exercises \n\n\n\n· Starting and stopping \n\n\n\n· Turning techniques \n\n\n\n· Riding through simple obstacles \n\n\n\nSafety is the top priority\, and instruction is kept age-appropriate with small groups\, controlled riding environments\, and plenty of encouragement for new riders. \n\n\n\nEvent Details: \n\n\n\n· Date: June 20\, 2026 \n\n\n\n· Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM \n\n\n\n· Cost: $150 per participant \n\n\n\n· Ages: 8–18 \n\n\n\nParticipants will need to provide their own dirt bike (please reach out if you do not have a bike but would like to participate). Required riding gear includes: \n\n\n\n· Helmet \n\n\n\n· Over-the-ankle boots \n\n\n\n· Long durable pants \n\n\n\n· Long-sleeve shirt or coat \n\n\n\n· Gloves \n\n\n\n· Eye protection such as goggles or glasses \n\n\n\nRegistration is now open using the link below: \n\n\n\nhttps://motors.becrashfree.com/p/i5OaMvZgzrpy. SUMMARY:Second 4-H Horse Judging Contest
DESCRIPTION:The second 4-H Horse Judging Contest will be held Sunday\, June 28\, at 9:00 a.m. in Bloom Pavilion during Horse Training Days. Classes will be Pleasure Driving\, Reinsmanship\, Western Equitation\, and Quarter Horse Mares (Oral Reasons on this class). \n\n\n\nThere will be two judging contests held each year. Youth enrolled in the Horse Project are required to participate in one county horse judging event to be eligible to compete at the Kittitas County Junior Horse Fair and complete the 4-H year. For senior\, intermediate\, and junior members to be eligible to judge on the Kittitas County 4-H State Horse Judging team\, they must judge in two county judging events completing oral reasons.
