Know Your Soils

Learn how to improve your soil
Come play in the dirt with us and learn about your soil at the same time!
Attend a WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter workshop
to learn how to test your soil. By knowing your soil type, you can
make it better with compost. The class will be at 5 p.m. March 2 at
Vernetta Smith Chehalis Timberland Library. You will be instructed
on how to bring your own soil sample, and test it with kits provided
in the class. People interested in attending the free class need to
pre-register by Feb. 23 to receive instructions on how to
prepare soil sample to bring to the workshop.

Pre-registration is REQUIRED. The first 16 registrants
will receive soil test kits (one per family, please).
