As of 2016, the population is 75,455.<\/p>\n<p>The county seat is at Chehalis, and its largest city is Centralia. Other\u00a0Lewis county communities include: Napavine, Adna,\u00a0Pe Ell, Winlock, Toledo, Mossyrock, Onalaska, Morton, Randle, Vader, Ethel,\u00a0 and Packwood.<\/p>\n<p>In addition there are several small communities in the outlying areas that are points of interest such as Doty, Mineral, Galvin and Cinebar.<\/p>\n<p>The county is named after the explorer Meriwether Lewis.
