Just a reminder to Lincoln-Adams 4-H’ers – if you are trying to qualify for State, your Record Books will need to be turned into Bridget before the show starts in the Show Office. It is highly recommended you turn them in as you check in that morning. The Record Book only needs to be up to date as of the show. They will be returned to you to complete in time for Lincoln County Fair entry date the next week.

This is the state qualifying show for Lincoln/Adams County 4-H horse members. This show is also open to ALL 4-H members enrolled in 4-H horse projects as long as their current year 4-H enrollment and horse ID/Certificate is in order. If you are an out of county exhibitor, you must please provide your current horse id form along with your entry.
Donations and sponsorships are GREATLY welcomed; the horse 4-H kids appreciate it. Equine related vendors are welcome as well.
- Lincoln-Adams 4-H Horse ID Form was due to the Extension Office by April 1st for Lincoln-Adams 4-H’ers to be eligible for ribbons.

Participants hoping to qualify for State Fair must submit their 4-H Record Book and Permanent Record (up to date through to the date of the show. 2018. 4-H Story and Ending Financial Summary not required) at the Show Office by 9:00 a.m.
- SUGGESTED: COPY of your Emergency Medical Release – from the 4hOnline Enrollment system if your parent/guardian will not be onsite.

|Riding Divisions:||Walk Trot, Junior, Intermediate, Senior
(No cross entry in Walk-Trot and age divisions) Walk-Trot: for riders ANY AGE who are not ready to lope or canter in competition. This class is NOT for experienced riders on “green horses.” Lincoln County does not currently have separate green horse classes. ALL riders must be 8 yrs of age or older as of October 1, 2017.
|Junior: 8 – 10 years old as of October 1, 2017
Intermediate: 11 to 13 years old as of October 1, 2017
Senior: 14 to less than 19 years old as of October 1, 2017
|Note: WA State 4-H Showmanship Policy: Showmanship is a required educational activity for each species of animal shown in 4-H classes at community fairs, county fairs, State 4-H Fair qualifying events, youth shows, and the State 4-H Fair. Showmanship must be a part of each 4-H member’s annual experience.
State Fair Qualification
Lincoln-Adams State Fair Qualifiers must have been enrolled and must have submitted 4-H Horse ID Forms by April 1st of the current 4-H year.
Enrolled 4-H horse project members from other counties should first contact YOUR 4-H Extension Horse Program faculty or committee chair for YOUR county State Fair requirements, process, and options. IF permission is granted from your County to use classes in this show towards your county’s State Fair Qualification, then please note your county 4-H Horse Program contact information on the back of RSVP form.
WA State Fair Eligibility: The equine used at State 4-H Fair must be the same animal with which the exhibitor qualified in Showmanship (Fitting & Showing), as well as in riding, sex/age type, or handling classes (etc.) at county qualifying show.

This show has State Fair qualifying classes for Equine Performance and Western Games competition only.
