New Lincoln\/Adams 4-H Volunteer Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n

Volunteering for 4-H is a powerful way to positively impact your community, inspire youth, and grow alongside your own family. You\u2019ll gain new skills, build lasting connections, and be supported by Washington State University\u2019s resources.<\/p>\n

You can make a difference in many ways by volunteering as a leader with Lincoln\/Adams 4-H. Each role offers a unique way to inspire youth, strengthen your community, and share your talents.<\/p>\n

Club Leader: Take primary responsibility for a 4-H Club. Guide members and teach life skills.
\nProject Leader: Lead specific projects or curricula within a club\u2014for example, monthly craft project meetings.
\nActivity Leader: Organize special events or activities, such as inviting a horse judge to explain competition standards.
\nResource Leader: Share your expertise in a subject area\u2014for example, offering a one-day photography workshop.<\/p>\n

The first step to becoming a 4-H Volunteer Leader for a current 4-H club, you will need to submit a WSU 4-H Volunteer application<\/a>. This establishes your intent to become a 4-H volunteer leader and begins the onboarding process for Washington State 4-H.<\/p>\n

After submitting the application, you will need to complete a background check with Sterling Volunteers<\/a>. You will need to create an account with Sterling Volunteers and use the code Crapm4s to access the background check.<\/p>\n

Returning Lincoln\/Adams 4-H Volunteer Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n

All returning 4-H volunteer leaders need to enroll with 4-H Online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Remember to report you volunteers hours<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Required Trainings for 4-H Volunteer Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n

All 4-H volunteer leaders are required to complete or update trainings modules. You need to create an account with Extension Foundation Online Campus<\/a> to complete the required trainings. Once registered, you will have access to the training modules assigned to 4\u2011H volunteers.<\/p>\n

4-H volunteer leaders need to update a background check with Sterling Volunteers<\/a> every three years.<\/p>\n
