Inspired by Asian and Pacific Island cuisine, it goes great in musubi, ramen, rice bowls, and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*Adapted from <a href=\"https:\/\/erickim.net\/cookbook\">Korean American<\/a> by Eric Kim<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>1 12-ounce can of Spam cut into 1\/8-1\/4 inch thick slices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/3 cup of bigleaf maple syrup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 tsp of garlic powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 400F<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On a greased pan, lay out slabs of Spam evenly.  Place in oven and cook until it begins to brown (20-25 min).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Combine bigleaf maple syrup and garlic powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When Spam is finished, pull from the oven and drizzle the maple syrup over the slices.  Return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes, or until the maple syrup begins to bubble. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove from oven and allow to cool for several minutes before eating. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bigleaf maple syrup adds a deliciously sweet twist to the savory flavor of Spam.
