Request a Volunteer Interest Form from the 4-H office. New volunteers will complete all of the following steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Enroll in 4-H online as a volunteer.&nbsp;You must complete all required enrollment information online directly at <a href=\"https:\/\/v2.4honline.com\">4HOnline<\/a>. Step-by-step instructions can be found on our <a href=\"https:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/mason\/4-h-youth-families\/4-h-enrollment\/\">4-H Enrollment Page.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the online Required Volunteer Training and send the completion certificates to the program coordinator:\n<ul>\n<li>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/campus.extension.org\/course\/index.php?category1d=159\">eXtension website<\/a>&nbsp;to login and view the \u201c<strong>WSU Put the Child First<\/strong>\u201d video<br>\n(the Mason County enrollment key is MASON4H)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/campus.extension.org\/course\/index.php?category1d=159\">eXtension website<\/a>&nbsp;to login and complete \u201c<strong>4-H Volunteer Orientation Modules<\/strong>\u201d<br>\n(the Mason County enrollment key is MASON)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/campus.extension.org\/course\/index.php?category1d=159\">eXtension website<\/a>&nbsp;to login and complete \u201c<strong>WSU EP14 Protection and Safety of Minors<\/strong>\u201d<br>\n(the Mason County enrollment key is EP14MA4H)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete a background check. One will be sent to you from \u201cSterling Volunteers\u201d only after the above steps are completed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meet with us! The 4-H program coordinator will reach out to schedule a time for volunteer orientation, and if you are starting a new club we will provide a 4-H Club Kit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have completed these steps, we invite you to stay connected through the regularly scheduled 4-H Council leadership meetings, hosted via Zoom the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. <a href=\"https:\/\/wsu.zoom.us\/j\/91092255786\">wsu.zoom.us<\/a>.
