Date:<\/strong> May 12, 2026 Falyn, Melissa, Kaya, Amy, Katie, Natalie, Eve, Owen, Kimberly, Blayne, Katie, and Dan<\/p>\n\n\n\n The meeting was called to order at 5:59 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The April 2026 meeting minutes were reviewed and approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The council’s financial books have been balanced and budgets have been updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n WSU Extension will be hosting a retirement event in June in Grays Harbor County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The first overnight counselor training was successful. Current camp enrollment stands at 58 registered youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A truck and trailer have been secured for the Forest Festival parade. Additional participants are needed to walk in the parade. Animals may participate if they are appropriately caged or safely handled while walking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tech Change Makers youth will be presenting at the State Teen Conference. A request was made to assist with registration costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The council approved up to $500 in support, providing up to $100 per youth participant for a total of five youth attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Discussion was held regarding volunteer needs for the county fair. Clubs are encouraged to recruit additional volunteers and begin scheduling support earlier in the planning process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The council discussed relaunching Clover Kids programming by encouraging youth to bring non-4-H friends to participate in activities at the Extension Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A tentative date of July 21 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM was discussed.
