Pressure Canner Dial Gauges Tested<\/h2>\n\n\n

The USDA recommends having dial pressure canner gauges tested annually. Making sure the gauge is working properly is a precaution that should be taken seriously. If the dial gauge on your pressure canner does not register correctly, you could be jeopardizing the safety of the food you just canned. *Please note that weighted gauge canners do not have to be checked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WSU Pacific County Extension office offers FREE testing of dial pressure canner gauges during office hours. Please remove the gauge from the canner lid prior to testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
