Linda Mathews
SNAP-Ed Program Manager
Linda Mathews has a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and a minor in dance. Before coming to work for WSU Pierce County Extension 20 years ago, Linda worked most of her adult life as an actor, dancer, choreographer and fitness educator. She currently manages the SNAP-Ed program for WSU Pierce County Extension. On her spare time, Linda enjoys music, cycling, gardening and watching the SNAP-Ed team work and play.

Kyle Lee
SNAP-Ed Extension Coordinator
Kyle Lee, Extension Coordinator, has a Bachelor of Science in Biology and completed his post-baccalaureate in Food, Nutrition, and Culinary Science from the University of Washington – Seattle. He has worked with WSU Extension since 2016 as a nutrition educator for youth and adults. Kyle is an avid home cook and likes to create original recipes in his spare time.

Svetlana Konotopchik
SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator
Svetlana Konotopchik has more than 15 years experience as a community health educator and is in her seventh year of employment with WSU Pierce County Extension. Her outreach and work with children and adults is well known and respected in the local community. She speaks Russian, Ukrainian and some Moldavian and serves as interpreter and educator for the Tacoma Metro Parks Community Garden and Food Forest and as an emergency on-call interpreter for the Tacoma Public Schools.

Meghan Cimeno
SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator
Meghan has been a nutrition educator for the Pierce County Extension SNAP-Ed program for over 12 years, and really enjoys working with the youth, adults, and families in her community. She has a Bachelors of Arts in Community Health and an Associates in Dietetics. Meghan’s passion includes cooking and exploring nature through traveling, hiking, biking, swimming and snorkeling.

Lauren Johnson
SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator
Lauren Johnson, Extension Educator, has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Master of Science in Nutrition, Food Science, and Health Promotion. She recently acquired her credential as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). Lauren has been with Pierce County SNAP-Ed since 2015, as both an educator and program coordinator. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys exploring the beautiful PNW through hiking and camping, cooking healthy meals, and spending time with her family.
