Effective March 16, 2020, WSU Extension county offices and WSU Research & Extension Centers will be closed to the public. We are available via email, phone, and webconference.

Virtual Fun Fair

The Virtual Fun Fair is open to 4-H Members in Chelan, Cowlitz, Douglas, Grant, Pierce and Yakima Counites.  It is also open to youth from the Washington National Guard, Joint Base Lewis McChord, Fairchild, and Pierce and Kitsap YMCA Child Care.

Purpose of the Virtual Fun Fair

The purpose of the Virtual Fun Fair is to give our members the opportunity to show what they have been working on this 4-H year and during the Stay Home, Stay Healthy mandate.  A lot of the still life classes will be offered.  Members of 4-H, YMCA After-school Child Care and National Guard/Military dependents are able to participate.  Exhibitors will be awarded virtual ribbons, and in some case will receive feedback from judges.

Process for Entering Exhibits

Entering Exhibits in the Virtual Fun Fair will be different than entering at the county or state fair.  Entries need to be photography and uploaded to FairEntry.  Photos can be uploaded from a computer, tablet, or computer.  The Virtual Fun Fair Guide will let you know how many pictures you will need to upload.  Make sure that you show your art work in the best views to show the judges the details they need to best judge your work.

Once you have all of your photos and documents ready to enter in to FairEntry, go to  Members of 4-H will use the green “Sign in with 4HOnline” button.  YMCA After-school Child Care and National Guard/Military participants will need to create a free FairEntry account.  FairEntry will open on May 1, 2020.

What can I Enter

Members of 4-H will be able to enter most of the classes and lots in the Virtual Fun Fair.  Their will be project restrictions only for the Judging Department.  There are Departments dedicated to the YMCA After-school Child Care and the National Guard/Military Dependents that will include Applied and Fine arts as well as Photography.  There are special classes for Stay Home Stay Healthy photography and Breathing Etiquette masks.  4-H Members can also enter a poster to thank Covid-19 front-line workers.
