Grants are awarded based on both the financial need and the willingness to work with the Pierce County 4-H Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Current 4-H Leader in good standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conditions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a recipient of a Pierce County 4-H Council Education Grant you must be willing to fully participate in the event or activity.\u00a0If the recipient of a Council Leaders Grant is attending an adult leader training course, they should be prepared to share their experiences with others. If the recipient is chaperoning a group of youth on an activity they should consider getting involved with pre and\/or post meetings with the group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Online applications must be complete and submitted prior to the event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grant Applications must be received before the Council meeting prior to the event. &nbsp;The Council meets on the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Thursday of each month.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selection Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Grants will be awarded based on the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The statement of financial need<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current involvement in 4-H<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The explanation on how this educational experience will help you as a volunteer 4-H Leader<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to share knowledge and time with Pierce County 4-H.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Availability of grant funds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All applications will be reviewed by the Pierce County 4-H Council Scholarship Committee before being submitted to the 4-H Leaders Council for final
