Motion Commotion! Learn about the physics behind car collisions with this interactive kit. This kit contains two different activities that explore the science of speed, momentum, and kinetic energy. Stop & Go Science<\/em> explores car collisions and the types of factors that govern safety. We Need More Time<\/em> investigates the human factors of these collisions by measuring reaction times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Age Level: 7-10; 2nd<\/sup>-5th<\/sup> grade<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time: 45-90 minutes. Time dependent on how many investigations are done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications: Physics, Newton\u2019s Laws of Motion<\/p>\n\n\n\n
