Spring Leaders Meeting – Fruitland Grange<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Join us for the Spring Leaders Meeting at the Fruitland Grange, located at 11102 86th Ave E, Puyallup, on Wednesday, May 29th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doors open at 6:15 PM with a light dinner available\u2014perfect for those coming straight from work or anyone who wants to arrive early, enjoy a bite to eat, and socialize. The meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 pm, starting with a general session followed by breakout groups for round robin discussions on selected topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important: Each club must have a representative (leader, parent, or officer) in attendance.
Please note: There will be no Zoom option for either the Spring or Fall Leaders Meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pierce County Fair News<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 Pierce County Fair Exhibitor Guide is now live on the Pierce County Fair<\/a> website! Be sure to check it out\u2014there are some significant changes this year, especially for certain 4-H departments, as we’ve now aligned with the Washington State 4-H Fair. There are also new opportunities for Cloverbuds! FairEntry<\/a> for registering exhibits in the 2025 Pierce County Fair opens June 1st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fair will still have opportunities to show market animals that are not<\/em> going to the sale. However, if your animal will be participating in the Market Sale, it must be entered in a separate Pierce County Youth Market Sale FairEntry<\/a> system, which is now open. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teen Conference<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGrowing Your Opportunities\u201d is the theme for the 2025 Teen Conference, happening June 23\u201326 at the Washington State University Pullman Campus!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teen Conference <\/a>is open to all youth who have completed 8th grade and older, this exciting event welcomes everyone\u2014no leadership role or plans to attend WSU required. Come experience college life, explore your future, and gain valuable insights into preparing for college. You’ll have the chance to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Tour major university departments<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Attend hands-on special interest workshops<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Learn how to navigate college applications and registration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Workshops include – Pinata Making, iDrone Camp with UI, Nutrition labeling in food, Robotics, Bees, Stress Management, Livestock and so much more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The cost is $295 per teen, plus transportation. Pierce County 4-H will cover the registration cost for leaders who attend as chaperones. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to grow, explore and have fun! <\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n
