SUMMARY:Stat Chat - Kitsap County Census of Agriculture Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a “Stat Chat” on the 2017 Census of Agriculture and how it applies to Kitsap County.\nWe will be joined by Chris Mertz\, of the USDA/NASS Northwest Regional Field Office. He will be discussing the data and results of the recently published 2017 Census of Agriculture\, presented with emphasis on Kitsap County and State of Washington data. \nParticipants will learn the current statistics on acreage\, farm numbers\, economics and demographics of Kitsap agriculture. Also\, information on how to access the data will be shared as well as time for Q&A. \nWhen: Monday\, November 4th from 5:30pm – 7pm\nWhere: Norm Dicks Government Building – WSU Classroom #406\nThis meeting is open to all. Content presented is applicable to Farmers\, elected officials\, community organizations working within the food system\, and any community member interested in local agriculture.
