What Next. \nWashington State AgrAbility Project\, part of WSU Skagit Extension\, is pleased to announce a series of webinars focused on the resources and services available if you’ve experienced a farm injury or otherwise acquired a disability. \nWhen: Fridays at 1 pm PST – March 2022 \n\n\nRegister once for all webinars and join us weekly every Friday at 1pm Pacific Time or choose the sessions that look most interesting to you. \nMarch 4 – AgrAbility: What is it? What does it do and can it help me?\nAgrAbility is a grant funded program available to farmers\, farm workers\, and ranchers that are battling any sort of limitation. Learn more about it at this kick-off webinar. \nMarch 11 – Assistive Technology: What’s available\, How to choose it\, How to fund it\nAssistive technology (AT) is defined as any item\, piece of equipment\, or product system\, whether acquired commercially\, modified\, or customized\, that is used to increase\, maintain\, or improve functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities. There are many resources for identifying\, locating\, obtaining\, and fabricating AT – on this webinar\, we’ll share what’s available. \nMarch 18 – Medical Debt and Charity Care: Income-Eligible Programs for Emergency Medical Care Expenses\nCharity Care provides for free and discounted inpatient and outpatient care in Washington State’s hospitals. It’s available for outstanding bills and even bills already paid can be refunded if you qualify for the program.
