DESCRIPTION:Join WSU Regional Small Farms and WSU NWREC at the 3rd Annual Sweetpotato Field Day!\nDate: September 5th\, 2025\, 2pm – 4pm \nLocation: WSU Mount Vernon Northwest Research and Education Center \nRegistration: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/6691239 \nPlease register to attend! \nVisit the sweetpotato fields at the WSU Northwestern Washington Research and Extension Center in Mount Vernon to see common commercial varieties\, purple-flesh varieties\,varieties with more bush-like growth for better weed management\, wireworm resistant varieties and unreleased breeding lines from the USDA sweetpotato program. View a side-by-side comparison of sweetpotatoes grown with black plastic mulch vs. no mulch.
