Come learn the basics of keeping your flock happy\, healthy\, and safe! \nEvent highlights:\n-Acquiring and raising chicks \n-When is the right time to put chickens outside? \n-Feeding chicks and chickens\, including supplements like oyster shells and grit \n-Addressing common health issues \n-Mistakes and misconceptions when it comes to keeping chickens \n-Resources to further build knowledge! \nWho should attend:\nSmall scale farmers\, backyard growers\, and anyone interested in someday keeping chickens. No experience necessary! \nEvent details:\nDate: June 29th \nTime:  6-8pm \nLocation: \nPort Angeles Main Library \nSpeaker: Clare Menard\, WSU Kitsap Extension and Jennifer Bond\, Clallam Conservation District \nRegistration for the class \nWSU Extension programs and employment are available to all without discrimination.
