SUMMARY:End of Season Sweetpotato Grower Round Table 2025
DESCRIPTION:Did you grow sweetpotatoes this year? Are you interested in learning from the experiences of farmers and researchers who did? Join us for this end of season discussion. Harvest will be complete and it’s an excellent time to talk about what went right\, what went wrong and what we could do better as the season is still fresh in our minds. WSU researchers will share a brief overview of what they learned from their trials this season\, and then farmers and gardeners will have a chance to share and discuss their experiences with the crop. Trial results will include information on mulch\, how growing degree days can inform what sweetpotato varieties we grow\, and rooted slip trials\, plus a sneak peek at the future of purple sweetpotatoes in our area.  Do did you have a particular pest or disease problem that you’d like to troubleshoot? \nPlease join us for this evening round table discussion and be prepared to share your experiences. \nDate: Tuesday\, November 18th\, 2025\nTime: 6pm – 7 pm\nLocation: Via Zoom\nAudience: Farmers and gardeners growing Sweetpotatoes\nRegistration: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/6734580 \n  \n—- \nThis material is based upon work that is supported by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture\, U.S. Department of Agriculture\, under award number 2022-38640-37490 through the Western Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education program under project number SW23-951.
