The PSA Grower Training Course is one way to satisfy the FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirement outlined in \u00a7 112.22(c) that requires \u2018<em>At least one supervisor or responsible party for your farm must have successfully completed food safety training at least equivalent to that received under standardized curriculum recognized as adequate by the Food and Drug Administration.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit the <strong>WSU Food Safety &amp; Food Processing Trainings page<\/strong> above for up to date info on course offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/agr.wa.gov\/departments\/business-and-marketing-support\/small-farm\/the-green-book\/regulations-for-food-processing\">Food Processing Regulations:<\/a> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Technically, \u201cfood processing\u201d is defined as \u201chandling or processing of any food in any manner of preparation for sale for human consumption\u201d (RCW 69.07).
