It&#8217;s essentially a collaborative effort to enhance capacity and improve outcomes. WSU Regional Small Farms Program can help provide specialized knowledge and guidance, help solve problems, and connect with resources for your farm.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-note\">\n\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wsu-note__title\">\n\t\t\t<em>When you\u2019re applying for a grant and need someone to help you navigate the process and review your application.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<br><br><em>When your young cabbage and other brassica plants are inexplicably dying in the field.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<br><br><em>When you\u2019re starting your farm and have so many questions you don\u2019t know where to begin.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Technical assistance exists to help you thrive as a farmer. By filling out a simple form, you become connected with experts in your region who have firsthand experience and access to evidence-based resources. We also work with other community organizations and can connect you with those experts who might better meet your needs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-row wsu-row--halves\" >\r\n    \n<div class=\"wsu-column\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading  wsu-font-size--xxmedium\">Farmers can access technical assistance for a variety of needs, including:&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Crop and pest issues&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Soil management\u202f&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Agritourism&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Animal agriculture&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>On-farm produce safety&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Farm business planning&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Marketing&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Water, weather, and drought management&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-column\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading  wsu-font-size--xxmedium\">Additionally, we offer resources for:&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Access to land&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Grants and funding&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Farm labor&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Farmer networking opportunities&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>And more!&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The WSU Regional Small Farms Program supports small to mid-sized farms by leveraging the extensive resources of a major university. Our program has combined our skills and funding to better serve area farmers through a regionalized model.
