It&#8217;s fully remote and can be attended from the comfort of your own home or you have the option to attend in person with a cohort of farmers in Clallam County, WA.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\"><strong class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-1o c1-1p c1-b c1-7i c1-2v c1-5k c1-7j\">Who is this course designed for?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\"><strong class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-1o c1-1p c1-b c1-7i c1-2v c1-5k c1-7j\">The Western Meat School is ideally designed for the following audiences:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\">Livestock Producers <em class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-1o c1-1p c1-b c1-7i c1-2v c1-1z c1-7j c1-7k\">with at least 2 years experience<\/em><\/li>\n<li class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\">Meat Processors and Butchers<\/li>\n<li class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\">Meat Buyers, Distributors, Retailers<\/li>\n<li class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\">Agricultural Professionals, Extension Specialists, NGOs working on local livestock and meat supply chains<\/li>\n<li class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\">4H and FFA program leaders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\"><strong class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-1o c1-1p c1-b c1-7i c1-2v c1-5k c1-7j\">The livestock species covered in this course include:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\">Beef &amp; bison<\/li>\n<li class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\">Pigs<\/li>\n<li class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\">Sheep &amp; Goats<\/li>\n<li class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\">We do not cover poultry, but many of the subjects could be applicable to processing &amp; selling poultry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>When:<\/strong> <span class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-5p c1-5q c1-b c1-c c1-d c1-e c1-f c1-g\">Tuesdays, October 11-December 6, 2022 from 5-7pm PST<\/span><\/div>\n<div><strong>Where:<\/strong> Online or attend in person with a cohort in Clallam County, WA.
