{"id":788,"date":"2019-12-05T19:07:28","date_gmt":"2019-12-05T19:07:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/regionalsmallfarms\/?post_type=tribe_events&amp;p=788"},"modified":"2019-12-05T19:07:28","modified_gmt":"2019-12-05T19:07:28","slug":"cascadia-grains-conference","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/extension.wsu.edu\/regionalsmallfarms\/event\/cascadia-grains-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Cascadia Grains Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 8th Cascadia Grains Conference will bring together 300 farmers, bakers, brewers, distillers, brokers, investors, policy-makers and others to strengthen the role of grains in the agricultural and food economy of the Pacific Northwest.<\/p>\n<p>The Friday Field Trips throughout the region and the full Conference on Saturday at the South Puget Sound Community College features workshops and hands-on classes that focus on three value-added grain enterprises: poultry and livestock feed, brewing and distilling, and artisan baking. Over the last three years the conference has developed into key educational event for producers and end-users and an important opportunity to network and collaborate along the value chain. Also included in Saturday will be a Resource Fair and Networking Sessions as well as a full breakfast, lunch and dinner.
