Increasingly, small farms must navigate a complex set of produce safety regulations, market standards and buyer needs. This workshop will help farmers cut through the confusion and identify which standards apply to their farm and how to meet them.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) will walk farmers through practices they would need to stay current with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) standards and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). Topics will include managing risk from humans, animals, soil, water and tools and equipment. WSDA will also provide insights and resources on how to start a food safety plan.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
